Doggie Daycare is the perfect solution! What could be better than eight to ten hours a day of running, jumping, playing and socializing all within a controlled environment. Exercise and socialization are an important part in maintaining a well balanced healthy dog. Dogs left at home for extended periods tend to lack proper exercise and mental stimulation which can lead to problem behaviour.

K9'S in KAHOOTS is focused on meeting the needs of your dog. We provide a healthy outlet for your dog in a cage free climate controlled environment. Dogs enjoy the "all play" open environment. Our staff supervise playtime in our fenced yard and encourage development of your dogs social skills. Your dog will enjoy a day of play and exercise with furry friends and a relaxing naptime. We have separate play areas indoors/outdoors for both small and large dogs.

Drop your dog off on your way to work and pick him up on your way home. Prior to enrolment we would like to meet your dog to ensure he'll get the most from doggie daycare. Any special requirements? DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING

We offer several levels of obedience training from Puppy School to Advanced Training.

Private training is available at our facility as well as in your home. We also offer in-house obedience training while your dog is at daycare.

All classes are taught by knowledgeable instructors and focus on training dogs through positive reinforcement based training. We do not use training aids such as choke collars, pinch collars or electronic training devices. We believe in pain free training.

Puppy Starter Classes
A 6 week socialization class, starting with puppies at 10 - 12 weeks of age. You will learn how to effectively communicate with your puppy and how to control and eliminate problem behaviour. Socialization with other puppies is crucial at this stage (12-18 weeks). Puppies learn "bite inhibition" which cannot be effectively taught by adult dogs, the family cat or humans. This class includes useful commands such as "Come", "Sit", "Down", to walk nicely on a leash and many others.

Puppy II Beginner
Learn how to effectively communicate with your dog! Learn great basic obedience commands including "Off", "Leave it", "Come" to name a few. We recognize you may need help with problem behaviours such as jumping up, pulling on leash, not coming when called and bolting out the front door. We will help you through all of these behaviours using positive reinforcement training. This is a seven week course with 50 minute classes each week with an experienced dog trainer.

Puppy III Intermediate
Further your obedience training by adding distraction work and many challenging new commands. This course offers commands at a distance, out of sight commands and off leash work. Puppy II is a pre-requisite. This course is seven weeks with 50 minutes classes each week.

Class sizes are limited to provide the best learning environment for both dog and handler. Please register early to avoid disappointment.

DOG WALKING and PET SITTING

If you can't come to our house let us come to yours! Walks are approximately 30-45 minutes in duration including a walk in the park, game of fetch or whatever you request. If you are going away for the weekend and want your dog looked after allow us to pet sit for you. 2-3 daily visits are available.
