Welcome to K9’S in KAHOOTS. We are a full service doggie daycare and obedience training facility located in the heart of Stouffville. We have been in operation since 2002 and strive to provide the utmost in quality of care for canine companions. Our founder, Darlene Johnson, a pain free, force free dog trainer has been training dogs since 1998. Darlene worked in the real estate field for many years and found a passion for obedience training after getting a golden retriever puppy. Dog training became a hobby and flourished into a full blown career. In 2002 K9’S in KAHOOTS was created. Darlene is currently owned by a golden retriever named Laker, her third golden retriever. Her specialty is puppy training and she enjoys helping educate and assist puppy owners about the fun and responsibility of puppy ownership.
With a background in dog behaviour and obedience training, our facility focuses on quality not quantity. We offer a range of services and training programs and enjoy educating owners about the benefits of positive reinforcement training and socialization. Our dog daycare has been designed to provide a safe, fun environment for dogs to enjoy the company of each other. Our staff are educated in dog behavior management and certified in Pet First Aid. We aim to provide quality personal care to all canines from puppy to adult.
